HEAD Acoustics

HEAD acoustics, headquartered in Herzogenrath, Germany, provides hardware, software and engineering services for acoustic and vibration testing throughout aerospace development.

Its solutions support component, ground and full-aircraft testing, including multi-channel acoustic and vibration measurements, modal and transfer path analysis (TPA), beamforming, sound source localization, cabin acoustics, and the evaluation of audio, speech and communication systems. Selected HEADlab modules comply with RTCA DO-160 and have been tested for environmental conditions relevant to in-flight operation, including temperature, altitude, humidity, shock and vibration.

With the new ASP 708 module, ArtemiS SUITE 18 supports IRIG 106 Chapter 10 data streams, allowing established aerospace telemetry systems to be integrated into time-synchronous acoustic and vibration workflows without replacing existing recording infrastructure.
