The aircraft industry continues to refine existing propulsion technologies to drive further 15-25% fuel efficiency improvements over the next two decades. This talk will discuss current enhancements to Geared turbofan engines as well as a review of radical new propulsion technologies and advanced designs which may become viable in the future, offering the chance to move away from traditional jet engine and tube-and-wing flight.
