Due to the current challenges in relying on batteries alone, there is an increasing appetite to explore how the use of a hybrid electric propulsion system could extend the range of future electric aircraft. This deep dive presentation will argue how it provides an easier near-term path to certifying and thereby enabling passenger-carrying eVTOL flight operations.
