The UK CAA Hydrogen Challenge is a cross-industry innovation programme accelerating regulatory readiness for hydrogen propulsion, addressing safety, certification gaps and operational challenges. It will demonstrate early insights from the Hydrogen Sandbox, working groups and regulatory landscape review, highlighting potential pathways that will enable safe commercial hydrogen aviation by 2035.
