Dr. Jean-Michel Rogero is an expert in aerospace innovation, AI integration, and zero-emission propulsion systems. Currently on sabbatical from Airbus after a 17-year tenure leading breakthrough technology initiatives, his work spans high-TRL flight demonstrator programs to AI-driven digital transformation. Notable projects under his leadership include the Blue Condor initiative, developing the first hydrogen combustion turbojet for H₂ contrail measurement and coordinating the EU HyLENA project on Solid Oxide Fuel Cell–Gas Turbine (SOFC-GT) systems. He also established early AI/ML validation protocols and led local GPU-based LLM integration for propulsion engineering.

Now heading CognitiveSand, Jean-Michel specializes in enterprise AI process optimization, specification-driven software development, and thermal/fluid dynamic calculations for aviation. A passionate advocate for rapid prototyping and the FabLab movement, his core philosophy of"Test early, test small, test smart; reality always wins in the end" focuses on bridging the gap between digital modelling, physical testing, and real-world deployment.
