Jean-Philippe Navarro holds an engineering degree and a PhD in applied mathematics. He has 25 years of experience in mechanical simulation, defining and validating sizing methods for airframe structures.

Throughout his career at Dassault-Aviation and Airbus, he has been involved in the development of several aircraft programs (including the F7X, A380, A400M, and A350), specifying, monitoring, and analyzing the results of physical tests spanning all scales, from coupons to full-scale aircraft tests. During this time, he has developed deep expertise in non-linear structural analysis, composite stress methodologies, and structural sizing.

Currently serving as an Advanced Modeling and Probabilistic Methods Expert at Airbus, Jean-Philippe actively integrates data analytics, artificial intelligence, and statistical approaches into modern airframe development. His latest Research & Technology work centers on leading the technical aspects of the hybrid testing project aiming to drastically improve the synergy between physical tests and numerical approaches.
