Matthijs Amelink is CTO at DeltaQuad. Matthijs leads the company’s technology strategy and product development, advancing mission-ready UAV solutions for defence and security operations. In his role, he works on the technologies and product direction that shape tactical unmanned systems.

Before joining DeltaQuad, he spent nearly 20 years in the defence industry in roles across product management, business development and engineering leadership. His work focused on defence technologies, mission-critical systems and autonomous systems. He holds a PhD in Aerospace Engineering and brings deep expertise in R&D, product development and the application of advanced technologies in defence environments.

At the Defence Testing Forum 2026, he will join the panel discussion “Integrating UAS & Counter-UAS into the Modern Battlespace: Interoperability, Open Architecture & Manned–Unmanned Teaming,” bringing DeltaQuad’s perspective as a defence technology company developing mission-ready UAV solutions.
