Stanislas Le Grelle is a Satellite AIV/T System Engineer at Airbus UpNext, where he has worked since 2025 on the SpaceRAN project, covering assembly, integration, verification and test for the programme's satellite systems. He joined Airbus UpNext from U-Space, where in 2024 he was a Satellite System Engineer on an Earth observation project.

Le Grelle began his career at Airbus Defence and Space, spending eight years from 2016 to 2024 as a Telecommunication Payload System Engineer. In that role he supported both live programmes and new business proposals, giving him a broad view of telecommunications payload architecture from early concept through to delivery.

His experience spans telecommunications and Earth observation missions, and his current work places him at the point where satellite system design meets the practical demands of integration and test.

SpaceRAN is an Airbus UpNext technology demonstrator exploring 5G non-terrestrial network capabilities, using a software-defined satellite to process 5G signals onboard rather than relaying them to the ground.
