Thierry Raffy
With over 30 years of experience at Airbus, this senior executive engineering leader brings a proven track record of managing complex, large-scale aerospace operations, aircraft architectures, and multidisciplinary teams. Holding a Master’s Degree in Aeronautics from ISAE (1991), he began his career in 1995 as a systems engineer, advancing through key roles such as A380 Landing Gear Systems Lead and A350XWB Hydro-Mechanical Systems Architect.
From 2014 to 2022, he served as Head of Aircraft Control, managing 305 engineers to maintain airworthiness and drive flight-control innovations. Currently, as Head of Tests and Analytics Engineering at the Flight and Integration Tests Center, he directs 600 engineers. In this role, he oversees system ground and flight testing for all Airbus commercial programs, industrializing test operations and accelerating digital transformation. Beyond operational management, he actively mentors talent as a College of Experts member and as the local representative for Aircraft Architect Development.
