Aerodynamic and aero-acoustic measurements are essential in the development of new aircrafts. Depending on the stage, tests are conducted on scaled models in wind tunnels or full-scale prototypes under operational conditions. We introduce piezoresistive and piezoelectric sensors suited for both challenges and provide straightforward guidelines on their usage.
